One UI 4.0 has been
updated and is now available for the Samsung Galaxy S20, which is part of the
Note 20 series in the United States.
Samsung has released a new beta One UI 4.0 update for the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 series in the United States, based on Android 12. It's the second-best version, and it includes fixes for a tas de bogues introduced in the previous version. The version number of the micrological « ZUKA » identifies the most recent update.
Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 series received a fix
According to the
official changelog, the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 series have received a
fix for the adaptable rate of rafraîchissement problem with the latest software
update. It's possible that this is the same issue that many Galaxy S21 users
have reported following the release of One UI 4.0's stable version last week.
When the user lifts their finger from the screen, the device's rate of
rafraîchissement changes from 120 Hz to 60 Hz. As a result, the animations and
the challenge appeared to be nerve-wracking. Samsung has released a fix for
this issue on the Galaxy S21 series. It appears that the same fix is now being
used on the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 series.

The update will affect a lot of Note 20 series users
For those eligible in
the United States, the latest beta version of One UI 4.0 for the Galaxy S20 and
Galaxy Note 20 series is now available. Users of the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy
Note 20 Ultra in the United Kingdom should have received the update as well. In
the coming days, it should affect a larger number of users. Users of the beta
version can, as always, download the most recent version through OTA
(over-the-air) via the application parameters' software update menu. This
update is accompanied by an Android security update from December 2021.
Samsung launched the
One UI 4.0 beta program for the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 series earlier
this month. Last week, it massively rolled out the beta version of its two 2020
flagships. Currently, it is working on a new and improved version. Ahead of the
release of the stable version of One UI 4.0, she hopes devices will receive at
least one more beta update. Samsung could deliver a stable update in the next
few months.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 and
Flip 3 also get a stable update to One UI 4.0. The new foldable have
resurrected the third beta edition, they are expected to get the stable version
before the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 series.
